We have been using Minecraft to develop settings for our fantasy narratives. Can you suggest other ways we could use Minecraft to improve our learning?
1.to make my writing more adventurous
2.To look what I did and then describe it
3.Have fun in engish/literacy
4.To use more WOW Words in my writing
5.To learn new stuff while making the fantasy setting
6.To communicate with who you are working with
7.When im writing my writing will be more imaginative
8.Organising my work
9.It has made me look at things in a different way
10.It has made me appreciate architecture
My homework.👌

1). We used minecraft to create a wonder the world. We then explained our wonder to different teachers, we used explanation skills;
2). We used descriptive language to describe our fantasy world on Minecraft;
3). We used speaking and listening skills when we made up sentences to go with tours if our fantasy world;
4). We used descriptive skills to blog our fantasy world on our school blog;
5). We used our imagination to create our fantasy worlds;
6) Minecraft is a motivating way to link ICT with Literacy;
7). We have used teamwork skills: good communication, turn taking, agree on things and leadership;
8). We used and developed ICT skills, taking screen shots and Minecraft building skills;
9). We used peer support skills: children who knew about Minecraft helped those that didn't;
10). We used our time wisely by giving everyone a different part: some did trees, some did the farm etc.

It's great to see how enjoyable using Minecraft has been to create fantasy settings and also the range of skills that you have used throughout, ardderchog!
